Step 1 – Initial Meeting (No Charge)
(This step may require several meetings to fully understand Scope of Project)
- Discuss lifestyle needs and general parameters for the home
- Discuss conceptual budget
- Determine project viability
- Discuss how Sabo Custom Builders will handle your job
Step 2 – Job Scope and Budget Development
- Letter of Engagement
- Review Drawings
- Start the Estimating Process to determine the working budget
- Develop Specifications and Allowance Amounts
- Update Primary Estimate as project is developed and scope it defined
Step 3 – Contract
- Final Drawings, ¼” scale, each page signed and dated by Sabo Custom Builders and Homeowner
- Agreement on Specifications signed and dated by Sabo Custom Builders and Homeowner
- Allowance Sheets signed and dated by Sabo Custom Builders and Homeowner
- Contract signed and dated by Sabo Custom Builders and Homeowner
Step 4 – Construction
- Permits are purchased, Portable Toilet Delivered, Neighbors Notified
- No surprises! From start to finish, Sabo Custom Builders will openly and honestly convey all costs related to your building project

Step 5 – Closing
- Final Inspections
- Homeowner provided all manufacturing warranties
- Final punch list review
- Competition of homeowner written punch list
